Dr. Akinola Komolafe holds B.Tech Degree in Applied Geophysics from The Federal University Of Technology, Akure , Msc in Geo-Information Science (Applied Earth Science Domain) from the University Of Twente, ITC, Enschede, Netherlands and Ph.D. in Sustainability (United Nations University), focusing on GIS-based flood damage assessment. He currently works in The department of Remote Sensing and GIS at FUTA And Has co-authored international scientific papers. He develops his research on: GIS and Remote Sensing for disaster risk management and reduction, with specific Interest in climate change and natural hazards modelling, flood damage and risk assessments and pollution studies..
